Exercise Your Will Power

15 Dec

I have stumbled upon Oscar Ramos‘ Behance profile whilst browsing the site. I absolutely love the personality given to the ‘healthy’ options! The close-ups are fantastic as well, I did spend a bit of time just gazing at the different images. Fantastic!

(I really should get myself a profile on there…)

Worst Client Feedback

23 Nov

You know what they say, everything happens for a reason and you know what, they are right! As a designer, I have had the absolute pleasure to do something that I love and to sit in on those delightful client meetings! It’s such a great feeling when you deliver an outcome you and your client love! But we all know this doesn’t always come straight away and I must admit I had to giggle when I saw this collection of posters brought to you by a collection of Ireland’s creatives. This work is in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital and these posters are all for sale with all the proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital. I have selected a few personal favourites, the rest can be found here. (Believe me, it’s worth it!)

The Ministry of Type

12 Aug

I somewhat stumbled upon this delicious website. I am not even sure what I was looking for but somehow it popped up, and I am so happy I did! I love the layout, the designs, the content and the general feel of the website. Beautiful.

The Ministry of Type, well worth a visit.

Warren Creative – The Pig Ark Co.

12 Aug

While researching into corporate branding, I came across this lovely design by Warren Creative. Simple, yet effective. I love the cheeky little pig’s tail curl on the ‘g’ as well. Lovely touch!

The Font Game

1 Aug

Just a quick post to say that I just downloaded The Font Game from the App Store for my iPhone! It’s well worth the money to buy it. I could lose a few hours playing it! It is a game of recognising different fonts as well as a terminology game! Amazing!

Unofficial Black Swan Posters

18 Jul

I came across these unofficial Black Swan Posters a while ago! Seeing as Black Swan, with Natalie Portman, came out mid December 2010! But I have only just been able to research into the artist behind them! La Boca is an “independent design circus specialising in art and design for the film, music and fashion industries.” I was left in awe of these pieces of work! Hope you enjoy them too! I love the modernist take on these posters. I hope I can produce something as beautiful soon.

I like these in comparison to the official Black Swan Poster like the one below.
